Mission Statement

As a member of a network of churches of the Assemblies of God, every activity we set our hearts to, at New Life Assembly of San Diego, centers on sharing the Gospel of Christ and fulfilling the mission Christ gave His disciples over 2000 years ago which is. "making disciples".

The Scriptures say: 19 “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations...” Matthew 28:19a New Living Translation (NLT) known as the "Great Commission". We are also committed to what Jesus called the "greatest commandment", which is 36 “... ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:36b-39 New Living Translation (NLT)

With these two Scriptures in mind, our mission statement at New Life Assembly of San Diego is: "Assisting Believers to Reflect the Great Commandment and Fulfill the Everyday Commission"

We at New Life Assembly, through the power of the Holy Spirit, want to share the Good News of Christ. Thereby giving all, the opportunity to enjoy a relationship with God through receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. We strive to win the lost through intentional relationships and a loving atmosphere. This experience begins the discipleship process: building Believers in their faith through prayerful dependence and centralizing the Word of God in their lives. Then we equip mature believers to minister with the proper concept of Christ, in order to promote a proper ministry image. These principles are our ministry priorities.
